Happy Pioneer Day!

We celebrated our Pioneer Day by hiking Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The historical marker there states that Brigham Young and some of the saints camped there on July 23-24, 1857 on the first statewide Pioneer Day celebration.

Here are a few pictures of the fun: Emma on my back, the boys getting along, (for once!) a natural rock wall discovered and conquered, Matthew's owee, handsome Glen and the scenery.

Sounds like we all got out and saw Nature in its finest yesterday. It was a great day and fun to be outside while this weather lasts.
